Who is RJ, and Why Should You Care?

As you might already know, metal, a very common material amongst our products—especially in the quantities we deal with—gets heavy.

Really heavy.

Pair that with the daily wear and tear our team endures from moving materials around, and it becomes apparent. We needed something that could eliminate the physical strain on our bodies (and our productivity), while still maintaining an exceptional level of service for our customers.

So, it was time for an upgrade.

But not just any old upgrade. We needed something that could easily lift more than a few dumbbells, something with enough muscle and perseverance to handle the bulk of our manual workload, and something that could take our efficiency to the next level day-in-day-out.

Enter RJ.

So, what’s the deal with RJ? Is he a new hire? A warehouse prodigy? Some sort of magical wizard?

Well, not exactly—though he is about to become one of our most heavy-lifting team members. RJ is the name of our new CAT forklift, and he makes Gronk look like a schoolboy.

Equipped with a hydraulic lifting mechanism, and the ability to navigate tight spaces like a pro, RJ makes every job look effortless. Our team is now free to focus on more important tasks, knowing RJ is on the job and loving every minute of it.

Not only is RJ lifting more weight off our shoulders (literally), but he’s also ensuring that our team stays safe while doing it.

Our team here at insta took on the job with some help of stripping down the metal and repainting it with that brand new construction yellow.
